Did you know:

  • That at one year postpartum, without any rehab program, the six-pack muscles are significantly thinner and weaker in both strength and endurance when compared to women of the same age, without any former pregnancies?

  • That during pregnancy and postpartum, it is significantly harder to coordinate the contraction of both your deep core muscles with your kegel muscles?

  • That your pelvic floor is considered a core muscle and contributes to the formation of the inner core unit?

  •  That when you kegel or contract your pelvic floor muscles your abdominal muscles fire automatically?

Returning to exercise postpartum can be intimidating and overwhelming, especially with a diagnosis of diastasis or pelvic organ prolapse.

  • Get reacquainted with your body and the strength of your deep core, postpartum.

  • Equip yourself with the skills to self-monitor and know when a specific exercise is right for you.

  • Reintroduce familiar exercises with confidence.

  • Get back to your favourite form of movement without symptoms such as, doming of the abdominal wall, bladder leakage and pelvic pressure or pain.
